Two new volumes on Discourse Studies came out in January in the Postdisciplinary Studies of Discourse series (edited by Johannes Angermuller and members of the DN board):

Por fin lanzamos Refracción, la revista abierta sobre lingüística materialista editada por el INLIMA (Instituto de Lingüística Materialista, Murcia, España).

We invite applications for participating in the 6th DiscourseNet Summer School in Tutzing (close to Munich), Bavaria, in the south of Germany, 30 June – 3 July 2020.

What can you expect?

This is to share a recent publication of ours, which discusses the unequal distribution of citations in Applied Linguistics: 

Johannes Angermuller and Julian Hamann (2019) "The celebrity logics of the academic field. The unequal distribution of citation visibility of Applied Linguistics professors in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom." Zeitschrift für Diskursforschung 1(2019): 77-93.

Submissions for Vol. VIII are accepted from now and until the end of 2020 and will be published immediately upon acceptance based on the journal’s all-year-round publishing policy.
